Halloween is coming!

Not really much to update this week. My party for Premier Designs is coming up on Oct. 28th and I'll begin taking bookings for shows then, hopefully it will work out well! I'm really excited as this is a product I've seen sell well and I enjoy wearing. Best of all in 3 to 4 shows you've earned back your initial investment so if I decide it isn't for me it'll be no harm no foul! I've got fantastic friends who are already either promoting the catalog and getting me sales that way or helping me gain future bookings! To all my friends that read this, YOU are AWESOME!

Dana and I went to the dentist and got our annual scolding about flossing. Does anyone actually enjoy flossing and actually do it as often as dentists say they should? Virtually no one I know does! Lol Also got the happy news they want us to see a surgeon about yanking our wisdom teeth. Figures doesn't it? Karalee is gearing up for teeth and her parents are losing teeth! Lol

Karalee has been doing pretty good sleep wise, goes down most nights between 8 & 9 and usually sleeps about 4 hours or so, nurses then is down for another 3 to 4 hours! It's wonderful although it took...er...takes getting used to! I keep going in to make sure she's breathing so I'm still up a lot during the night! Lol She also LOVES the cooler weather, gets so excited! Pumps those little legs, swings those arms ... usually right into whoevers holding her! Lol and gets this enormous grin! Loves to swivel her head all around so she can see everything that's going on. Karalee has tried rice cereal, banana's and green bean's so far. Rice cereal was deemed...YUCKY Banana's...mostly ok Green Beans...hasn't quite decided. She's also moved into her highchair and looks so small in there but absolutely loves it! She's getting stronger and is sitting more but still has practice to do on that. :-) She's also trying very hard to figure out crawling! She gets her legs going, then starts moving her arms but can't quite figure out how to put it all together into motion. She's been practicing petting "gentle" on Max, it's so funny to watch Max! He get's this "I love you" look along with this "why're you doing this to me" mixed in lol. He's been pretty good about it though so I'm happy. Her favorite thing to do is try to grab his whiskers and he doesn't care for that but he loves when she pets the top of his head. They're so cute together!

Speaking of cute together he and Buggy are hilarious! She'll follow him around meowing her little noggin off, rub up on him and the kicker yesterday was as he was laying next to me she comes up and starts GROOMING him!! No joke!

Other then that we're just counting down to Halloween and our trip to IL!

Here's some pictures I took of Jim & Gregg's yard, Karalee is checking out their decorations. I warn you now there's a ton of pictures!

First cold

Well it's official, I'm the mother of a child with her first cold. Ugh. Poor kid ran a fever all day Saturday and it got up to 103 so we made our maiden voyage to Children's Hospital where they assured us she was fine, just to keep up with the tylenol and a warm bath for 20 minutes to keep her temp down. We also discovered she has swollen gums on the bottom so she's begun teething although they say she won't have any real progress for awhile yet. She slept okay as long as I held her, got Tylenol every 4 hours and then Sunday she was doing better so she only got Tylenol a couple times. She did sleep with me again though so she and I took over the spare room. :-) I took today (Monday) off work even though her fever is gone she's just fussy from her sore gums (she doesn't have much interest in her teethers at this point) and I figured she'd need the rest which with a bunch of kids running around she just wouldn't get.

She's doing pretty good, cries more then usual for the obvious reasons but other then that she's been such a champ about this whole thing. We've done saline drops a couple times in the nose which she hates but it really has helped clear out her nasal passages. So far she doesn't have an ear infection and we're trying to make sure she doesn't! :-)

I have decided to sell Premier Jewelry and will start that up about the end of October most likely. I'm excited as it's a great opportunity and several of my friends said they'd book a party for me to present so I'm pleased. I made sure of that prior to taking on this new venture! Lol Most are aiming for some time next year which is fine, I have a few people that will probably book before the end of this year so that will give me a running start.

Well I best check on peanut who by the way is officially 5 months old as of yesterday!
