For the first time last night Dana got to feel his daughter move! She was nudging very insistently so I snagged his hand and just when he thought it was another ploy she popped him one as if to say "I am in here Daddy, mommy's not just gaining a beer gut"! LOL She got him a few more times before deciding she was ready to settle down for the evening, it was so exciting! And his face was priceless, the shock and love that were on his face was so neat to see!
We haven't had too much else really going on, we're getting freezing temperatures but are hearing snow should be very minimal to none at all which is nice! Of course now what's occuring is the roads and sidewalks are becoming ice since it was warm enough to start melting but then did a 180 and froze it all.
Dana and I learned together how to put in a car seat, discovered the first one we got-Dana's parents bought the car seat for us which we really appreciate!-wouldn't stay stable in the rear facing position but did great forward facing. So after several hours and days of fighting with it we returned it for an infant carrier that says it goes up to 1 year.....we'll see! It's great though, doesn't move all over the seat like the first car seat did and has a high safety rating which we're very pleased about. Installed in minutes which thrilled us!
We've been planning out trips and visits the last few weeks, looks like we're going to be very popular with this new addition! We have Dana's parents planning to come out the end of May, my Aunt and Grandma in June, and then we're going to a wedding in AZ in July where we'll see family and friends. Whew, just when I thought I was busy now I get a reality check of what it's really going to be like to be busy! Lol Plus one of my best friends is hoping to come out in March which would be great! He wants to compare bellies! Lol I don't know, I'm a pretty good contender for that kind of contest! Lol
For everyone that's asked Max is doing great with his epilipsy, he gets his meds twice and day and stays seizure free! He loves the peanut butter twice a day so he's been on best behavior to make sure he gets it! Lol He cracks us up every day with his goofy antics! For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of watching Max "help" shovel here's a comic that perfectly shows Max. No wonder his nickname is Marmaduke!

I am now officially 24 weeks and 1 day pregnant! So far I have learned leg cramps are really unfun and that tying my shoes is about to become a luxury I won't have much longer! I can still bend over but I have to take a deep breathe, lean over, tie the shoe, come up for air and then do the other shoe.......yeah that's a sight to behold! Lol It's all worth it but my am I on a learning expedition! Here's the belly shots of me taken yesterday at 24 weeks.

And here's a picture of Max playing with his blanket that just cracks me up! He gets to growling so loud it's a little unnerving but his tails just wagging away and he'll let go the minute you tell him to but my does he sound viscious when he's "killing" his blanket! Lol Watch out 'cause if you're not fast enough he'll get you by accident! Lol :-) That's one of his toys he's holding in his mouth.

Here's a few of my favorite pictures from Dana's 32nd birthday at Texas Roadhouse!
Did you know it's hard to get enough space to take a photo when you're in the same booth seat? :-)
